Applications for Access to Information
Country Rail Infrastructure Authority (CRIA) acts in accordance with the GIPA Act which creates new rights to information that are designed to meet community expectations of a more open and transparent government.
A valid formal application for access to government information must:
- Be in writing. An application form is available (click here)
- State that it is made under the GIPA Act
- Have an Australian postal address for return correspondence
- Provide enough details to help the agency identify the information the applicant wants
- Enclose the application fee of $30.
